Petrellus engineers are often working
as facilitators of Harzard & Operability (HAZOP), Hazard Identification (HAZID)
or Design Review Studies and
workshops. This work has resulted in the development of HAZID+ software that
improves the efficiency of the hazard identification process and provides
semi-quantification of risks and evaluations of good
designs versus bad designs.
HAZID+
is software for the management, recording and quantification of risk related
features of a process facility. HAZID+ is

The software was developed for the use in the oil & gas, refinery
and
chemical industries by engineers working in the combined areas of risk
assessment, integrity and emergency response. The methods of HAZID+
have been successfully used for a number of years.
